			<description><![CDATA[ Does anyone know from what states troops were drawn to train at Ft. Bliss during WW11?  I know the federal training bases had a set program that they got their
troops from a set number of states.  I suspect Fort Bliss trained men from TX, OK, AR, KS, etc. but that is just a guess. ]]></description>

other than that he did not come back from WW11 and was supposedly killed.  In the picture his insignia on his arm appears to be Cav. Pvt. lst Class (a black

During his time his 35mm Leica camera was busy recording the La. manuevers as well as marches to El Paso and life around Ft. Clark. We have over 300+ pictures along with the negatives for viewing. 			<description><![CDATA[ Troopers:<br><br>I have recently been contacted by Alvin Cole's grandson, John Kaiser, who is interested in knowing more about the circumstances under which his grandfather died. <br><br>We have determined that PFC Alvin Cole was a member of H Troop and was seriously wounded on November 30, 1944, in the fight for the Ormoc Valley on Luzon. 			<description><![CDATA[ Scotty Anderson was in Troop B of the 112th Cavalry. He was wounded in the Battle of the Driniumor River in July, 1944. On Jan. 30, 2007 he finally received his medals after 62 years. The medals were presented to him by the Commanding General of Fort Huachuca, AZ, Major General Fast.
