			<description><![CDATA[ For all of those who haven't heard effective Oct 1, 2007 Jeff Hunt, formerly of the Nimitz Museum will be runing the museum.<br><br>Word I heard is that he has NO MILITARY EXPERIENCE, and has never served in anything but some reenactor group. They say that he has a degree in History, but for all of those who have been around and watched the museum grow know that you would understand the system better if you have served, especially in the Guard. <br><br>I feel that all will be lost. I am told that they were mobilized but did not go any further than Fort Hood, Texas. He was in the Texas Army National Guard 131st Field Artillery in WWII. He was a POW for about 3 years. He lost 95% of his hearing in the POW camp. When the camp was liberated he was very ill and unable to communicate because of his hearing loss. He had no ID on him when they found him. They had him as KIA.... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Access to Camp Mabry for visiting The Texas Military Forces Museum has changed, effective 22 March 2002.<br><br>The method is to go to the Maintenance Drive gate, tell the MPs that you are visiting the museum, fill out the information on the form given out by the MP, receive a visitor pass and proceed to the museum.  No prior arrangements are necessary, except for special tours (as in the past).  Individuals with Military IDs do not require a pass.<br> ]]></description>
