     No, I did not know your brother. My father fought with the 36th ID in WWII, but probably would not have known your brother. I looked in the 36ID roster in
the back of the 36th Divisional History for anyone named John R. Wilkerson, and found him rather quickly in HQ Company of the 36ID. What I posted is the
information I found there. Now that folks know which sub-unit of the 36th he served in, perhaps we will find more information on him. I will try a search of

			<description><![CDATA[ I found a Pvt. John R. Wilkerson from Wicomico, Virginia listed in HQ Company 36 Infantry Division. He was not listed as KIA or MIA, so he must have survived
