A visitor's comment below. We had 200 reenactors and military vehicle collectors take part in the show ---- by far the largest turnout ever. 9,100 civilian guests attended as well as 1,000 military personnel.

Unfortunately the merger of Muster Day with the American Heroes Air Show to create a new and bigger event: American Heroes Celebration has resulted in the deletion of the parade of armor from the event.

There are several reasons for this. 1) The arrival on post on Saturday morning of a large number of First Responder emergency vehicles and aircraft will consume the road net to such a degree that there will be no clear route for the parade. 2) Since the parade ground will be...

There will not be a military vehicle parade this year due to all the added activites. Also if you want to participate contact Jeff Hunt, Museum Director at 512-782-5770.

I like tradition. The parade that kicks off the festivities is one tradition that I always look forward to. Will there be a vehicle parade so I can once again enjoy the procession of history passing in review?

Is there any way still time to register? I would like to do a living history display (WWI). I had rec'd an email asking if I was interested but I replied but never got the link for registration and now cannot find it. Perhaps my reply didn't get through.

Thanks for the information! I plan to be there. Any WWI living history folks having a display? I currently am doing a 1916ish Illinois National Guard (Texas-Mexican border) machine gun (Benet Mercie) unit. Of course I will get my questions answered when I get there, but it would be fun to know in advance.
