He does recognize Flavio Torres name, has some information......he did fight in Italy, from North Africa..........this is also a man that likes to talk about the war, and one that I have spent time talking with............

I want to let you know that I just got off the phone with a veteran from 141st E that does remember your grandfather, Flavio Torres. This veteran did not go overseas, because of health issues, but he had a 45 minute phone conversation about the 141st E and your grandfather.

His description was really interesting.

My Father was *NOT* presnet and accounted for in August, 1944.

I asked him how he feels about missing the complete tour of sight seeing and the warm Nazi welcome prepared by Adolf Hitler.

He passes along the comment: "Hell No! - I was lucky to be alive and had the biggest tit job in the history of the World!"
