        <![CDATA[ I was in the 112th Cav, E Troop, 2nd platoon.  In the last 1 1/2 years I spent looking for some of the men.  I found Wendell Spence in Yukon OK, Bill Fallin in Fort Smith AK, and Nick Sapone in Lancaster PA.  With the help of Ava and Les Condit at the reunion last year we found James Porter in Humbolt TN.We are still looking for James Barberi from Randolph NJ.  He was the supply Sgt. in E Troop.  Also looking for John Duffy who also I think lived in New Jersey.  R. Harrison Ryder Jr who lived... ]]>

My father served with the 112th calvary from 1944 till 47 I think. He passed away in 1991, although he never spoke much about the war, his best buddy in the
war sent us a tape. I listen to the tape every memorial day, and let the tears roll down my cheeks with pride. If you had a memeber of your family who served

			<description><![CDATA[ Hi all<br><br>My dad just passed away last week and was buried in the new Western Reserve National Cemetery which is south west of Cleveland Ohio.<br><br>My dad was in the 112th Cavalry.<br>He kept a pretty nice record in pictures of his time in Texas.<br><br>He was born in Cleveland in 1914 and repaired musical instruments before he was drafted.<br><br>His name is<br><br>Casimer C. 			<description><![CDATA[ My uncle Allen C. Long (A.C.) was a member of the 112th Calvary from its initial deployment to the Pacific untill he was Killed in action in August 1945 in the phillipines.  My father has a a few photos and information on him but we would like to hear from anyone who may have known him and may have additional photos that he was in.  Maybe a group photo or something. 			<description><![CDATA[ I have just finished reading a book titled &quot;The Souvenir, A daughter discovers her father's war.&quot; It is a book about the soldiers in the Asian Pacific Theater in WW II. Reading this book made me think about my fathers experiences as a soldier in the 112th Calvary Regiment from June 10 1944 to February 21, 1946.
