Imogene Woods, daughter of Ival Altis, 141st K, KIA 1944, wrote a book in 2003 based on interviews of 12 infantry men in her father's unit. It is a 363
page book, with first hand accounts and memory recall of their time in that unit. She definitely did a wonderful job in learning about her own father's
death through the memory of men who fought with him in this company.
I see Elbert Wright's name in the roster, and I think this book would be a great resource as to what this group of men went through during the war.
