Texas Tejano.com, along with prominent State of Texas and San Antonio community leaders respectfully requests your presence at a historic announcement to launch the concept of establishing the first official Hispanic Heritage
Center of Texas to be located in San Antonio.
Please join us at this important event on Wednesday April 30, 2008 at 5:30 P.M. at San Fernando Cathedral's City Centre Café on newly renovated Main Plaza. Refreshments and hors'doeuvres will be served.
Since the founding of Texas in 1690, Tejanos have been the descendants of the first Spanish, Mexican, Anglo and indigenous families to settle the Southwestern frontier. They helped develop, build and name our first cities, ranches, roads, businesses and laws in Texas. It is time for us all to work together as new Texans to commemorate our rich history and protect this unique legacy from being lost.
