Effective Oct. 1, 2007 the museum will have a new director. He is Jeff Hunt.
For those who do not know him he is a reenactor who use to work at the Nimitz museum.
Though he has a degree in History he has never served in the military. I find it hard to see a person like him running the museum. Being around the National Guard for several years now the concept is different and not the same as the regular Army or Air Force.
I hope that the museum will continue to hold true to it's story line, and only show the military History of Texas, and not show other topics like the American Revolution and things that do not pertain directly to Texas.
