If anyone knows our Dad, we would greatly appreciate hearing from you. He often talked about a Lt. Ben Carpenter from Dallas, Texas who would send Dad a Christmas card each year.

My father, Capt. Robert Ryskamp, was best friends with Ben Carpenter. I believe they served together at both Brownsville, TX, and the Burma campaign. My father is still living, and I will ask him if he knew of your father, Coy Jack Hale.
