A training accident occurred on Saturday evening October 12th, 1982, during manouver training at Hood. My platoon leader and a tank commander were killed when the tank they were on, the TC in the cupola and the LT outside the turret, rolled. I can only remember LT's last name, Herrington (SP?), but I can not recall his first name, or the name of the tank commander. Does anyone have information on this incident? I sometimes think about them and it bothers me that I don't recall their names.
