This is the company to which Mutt Sakumoto, who was first to make contact with the "Lost Battalion", belonged. It consists of a number Acrobat files constituting a downloadable ebook. One of the Chapters is Men of The 1st Battalion, 141st Infantry Regiment, 36th Infantry Division. It is comprised of articles written by or about: Martin Higgins -- "Message From The Battalion Commander" Jack Wilson -- "My Twelve Months, Year 1944, With the 36th Infantry Division" Joseph Milton Blair, Jr. -- "My Father, A Caring Infantryman" Astro "Al" Tortolano -- "Words of Personal Thanks"

Please visit the site if you had any relatives in the 36th division during WW2. Some website contacts & photo sucesses: John A. Stephens, C/O Rusty Stephens. (email availible) Sydney L. Weinstein. (email availible) David Bennett. (email availible) I have heard from people who knew the soldiers in my dad's photos. They supplied a name and some history to this person's life. This is very gratifying for me since my dad is no longer alive. Thanks to all here, their sacrifices. 36er son PS.....I hope these 36th ID soldiers 'bio' history webpages are also listed on the 36th 'HUB' website with their 'tribute' page LINKS, too!
