The most famous location should be, "The Sea of Mud" area where the Mexican Army was bogged down for at least three days, on their way to Matamoros. It is located between the San Bernard main river and one of it's creeks(arroyos). And Colonel Ampudia, and Lt. Col. Jose Enrique de la Pena, should be remembered as the most famous men in Texas history, because they were the ones who made it possible to get out of that muddy area. And for two, days, April 28th to 29th, it rained horribly, as stated by de la Pena.
